Tanya Knight
Tanya has been a personal fitness trainer for over 20 years. She loves the health and fitness industry and looks forward to her job every day. Helping people learn new skills and watching them achieve their goals and flourish past what they thought they were capable of gives her great joy. Tanya's true passion is nurturing others and watching them grow and be successful.
As the owner of Taproot, she feels the name describes the establishment she wishes to build. By assessing clients' wants, needs, and skill levels, she can place them with the trainer best suited for their needs.
For her team, she wishes to support the Taproot trainers by giving them the environment and tools to stand strong in themselves and support their clients. Burnout is a major risk for personal trainers; it takes time, energy and a lot of work behind the scenes to ensure your client succeeds. Tanya has worked solo for many years, and now she feels that there are better systems than going alone. She looks forward to being part of a team and watching new trainers grow- this will provide the client with a coach who is balanced, healthy, and supported.
Tanya is excited to see "The Taproot" grow to a new vision of success, where everyone, the clients and the Taproot Team, wish to be.

Zjaya Doman
Zjaya is a dedicated and passionate trainer with an unwavering commitment to understanding clients' individual needs and goals, and helping them unlock their full potential. As a former university athlete, Zjaya appreciates the incredible capabilities of the human body, and the science behind achieving peak athletic performance. With a Bachelor's degree of Sport Management, and a personal training certification from the International Institute of Sports Science, Zjaya has a strong understanding of biomechanics, athletic nutrition, and sport performance.
Zjaya's approach to training is shaped by her knowledge of athletic performance, and her commitment to connect deeply with clients. She believes in a holistic approach, tailoring programs specifically to each individual's objectives, capabilities, and lifestyle. With a keen eye for detail and a comprehensive background in strength and agility training, conditioning, and injury prevention, Zjaya is here to help you unlock your potential!

Rebekah Nelson
Rebekah has been coaching gymnastics since 2015 and has recently carried her love of exercise over to the field of personal training. She completed her CPT, glute specialist certification and nutrition certification through ISSA in 2023. She believes that everyone can benefit from exercise and makes it her goal to grow a love for health and movement in others! Rebekah spends her free time exploring the outdoors, going to the gym, eating good food, and cuddling with her cats.

Ben Fongaro
Ben has been a coach for over ten years. Having a passion for helping other people and also a keen sense of observation, he easily understands how each person reacts mentally and physically to exercises and knows how to adapt quickly so that goals are achieved.
His training and experience on the floor have led him to develop a priority in the ergonomics of movements and also share his enthusiasm for achieving the desired goals.
He constantly seeks to ensure that his clients understand what they are doing, and for him, quality comes before quantity.
The training is always adapted to the needs and motivation of its clients, while pushing efforts further to achieve the desired goals, all surrounded by humor and encouragement.
Whether you want to lose weight, tone up, grow your glutes, feel more comfortable at the gym, or simply talk about music or cheese, Ben will be there to welcome you and make you feel at home.
